  We had a lovely time with our 2 year old. Impressed to see lions, a camel, a maine wolf, crocodiles, monkeys, etc. Not too big and really enjoyable. Particularly loved the petting area with goats, chickens, sheep - all of whom were eager when they saw the little paper bags of food the Zoo sells for $1 to feed them. Great fun!! If you are taking a pram I recommend a 3-wheeler, we had a travel pram, and while we managed it was a bit too much terrain for it at times. Definitely worth a visit!

  Wonderful place to take International visitors to. Get up close and have your photo taken with a Koala. The staff are very friendly and helpful. What a great experience and memory of Australia.

  A nice little private zoo, a good day out for younger kids (ages 4-10), without breaking the bank. Good educational presentations plus individual hands-on experiences at reasonable extra cost. Not a big range of exotic animals, but enough to make it a zoo, not just a petting farm. We visited with 2 year olds so didn't get to see as much of the place as an older family would, but much fun was had chasing the ducks & hand feeding the goats, sheep, donkeys & kangaroos (bags of animal food are $1 at the gift shop on the way in).

  Not big enough to impress teens but a pretty good day's entertainment for younger kids, especially if they don't get much contact with animals.

  Great little zoo in a beautiful location. The animals are well cared for and easily accessible for prams. XThere is also a barnyard area for the kids to feed the animals and shows for the more exotic animals.

  Though they just have two toilets which are not so clean and the wait is forever !
